Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit as
surely as haste leads to poverty.
I walked 6 miles yesterday – 3 ½ in the morning and the rest
in the evening. If I had tried to walk
it all at once, I might have given up. I get bored after an hour or so of
walking around town even though I vary my routes. The last time I walked 6 miles at once we
were in the mountains. The only way to
get back to the car was to keep walking.
Whatever we may need to accomplish, sometimes it’s better to take a slow
and steady approach. Sometimes it’s
better to be deliberate and patient than impatient and hasty. We get anxious over situations and want our
goals met quickly, but things take time.
If the situation calls for it, ask God for help and trust God to help you
get through whatever it is. Celebrate small accomplishments. Many small
accomplishments will eventually lead you to your desired goal.
Loving God, help us to be patient and remain steady, trusting
in You in all situations. We ask in
Jesus’ name. Amen.
Keep the Faith,
Paige
