2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.
Joe and I and a number of folk from church went to McDonough
yesterday to visitation after the death of another church member’s sister. On
the way back to Hapeville I noticed two flatbed trucks carrying large loads
that were wrapped in heavy black plastic.
I wonder what they were transporting under wraps. Then I thought about how we describe things
we keep to ourselves as being “under wraps.”
Are you tired and troubled? God
will bring you among people who care. Are you happy in your faith? God wants
you to share that with others. I’ve
never noticed this morning’s beautiful verse until today when I searched the
scriptures for sharing. I’m imagining
groups of Christians coming together in faith and friendship, caring for and supporting
one another and then going out to share Christ with the world. To me that is the Kingdom of God on the
earth.
Loving God, thank you for Jesus who taught us about the
Kingdom. May our lives this week reflect
your love for us. In Christ’s name we
pray. Amen.
Blessings,
Paige
